Use case

Branded WooCommerce order confirmation

By default, the WooCommerce order confirmation looks the same in every shop: a plain header, an unstyled table, no logo. With FreddyMail, it becomes a branded email in minutes.

Before vs. after

Before (WooCommerce default)

  • Generic header with shop name as plain text.
  • Bare, narrow product table without branding.
  • No logo, no brand colors.
  • No obvious "View order" button.

After (with the FreddyMail designer)

  • Header with logo, brand color and a short greeting.
  • Product table with images, quantities and subtotals adjusted to your brand.
  • Prominent button to the order page in the shop.
  • Custom footer with support link and optional social profiles.

Click path in the plugin

  1. In the WordPress admin open FreddyMail > Designer.
  2. Pick the "New order / order confirmation" email type.
  3. Upload your logo into the header block and set the brand color as accent.
  4. Enable the product table and adjust cells, separators and subtotals.
  5. Add a support link and optionally social profiles to the footer.
  6. Save the template and trigger a test order in a staging environment.
  7. Review the result in FreddyMail > Logs and check the mail in Gmail, Outlook and on a phone.

Why it matters

  • Brand perception: The order confirmation is usually the first email customers open after a purchase.
  • Reliability: A branded email looks trustworthy and reduces "did my order go through?" tickets.
  • Consistency: When your storefront and your emails match visually, it builds trust.

Common questions

Do I need to write code?
No. The designer works with blocks (header, product table, notice, button, footer) and drag-and-drop.
Does the template work in Outlook and Gmail?
Yes. Templates render with table-based layout and inline CSS, which works reliably in Gmail, Outlook and mobile clients.
Is the WooCommerce data (products, prices, addresses) preserved?
Yes. FreddyMail only replaces the email design; the data still comes from WooCommerce.
